taking the Phase sword{ rifts dimension book 2 pg 124 } and adding the noro psionic crystal to the inside of the pommel{ also dim. book 2, pg 127}.
the phase sword can effect about any kind of creature for 4d6 dmg.
the noro crystal would add to the sword act like the paralyzer.
Now my question is what would it take to build this what would cost be and while the primary phase field is on does the paralyzer{purplish glow} work in conjunction forcing its roll. My thoughts are it would cost more ISP to power up the crystal.
The sword would be in possesion on one of my NPC who starts out with group but is becoming an enemy of the group due to bad treatment. he is a low end psionic he always gets point man duty and is not receiving fair share of spoils, but he is the only psionist in group the rest are all super human power houses who destain him.
Try doubling the combined cost of the weapon.
And upping the ISP cost might be a good move too, though I'm not sure by how much.
What's the normal cost?
