Robots and Armor?

Unread post by MaxxSterling »

This may seem stupid, but I don't see it specified in a book. Can robots wear armor? Cyborgs can, would robots just use the same type of armor? And more importantly, does it mention this in any of the books somewhere? Thanks.

It depends on what kind of robots you're talking about.
The general answer is, yes, they can.

Basic Humanoid frame, human legs, about 8 ft. tall. Approx generic cyborg dimensions/set up. I figured as much, but hoped to find somewhere in a book, any book where it mentioned it.

That size should be able to use Borg armor just fine, though I tend to think (from the pictures) that heavy Borg armor has to be bolted on, so they'd have to have proper fittings and such.

As for official stuff from the books, you might find some interesting stuff on p. 152 of the original Vampire Kingdoms book, where it discusses giant armor along with dragon skin armor.

Yup. Most of them have their own special armor but many can wear borg stuff.
