Here's a question I can't remember the answer to. I'm hoping you all can help with a RAW answer, or at least something that makes good sense.
I know that HP's increase 1d6/level.
What about SDC? Other than physical skills (which are only added at character generation) is there any way to increase SDC as the character progresses?
Also, is there a ruling for gaining more skills as you level up? If so, I've over looked it.
PC's in question are being played in a TMNT&OSre setting.
Thanks,
TOSA Nate

Re: Increasing SDC and additional skills
The only way to get more SDC is by putting on armor (obvious I know but I thought its worth mentioning) or getting new skills. Otherwise you are typically stuck with what ya got. As for getting new skills, I am not familiar with the TMNT system but normally character's gain more skills as they level up. Other than that they're stuck with what they've got.

Re: Increasing SDC and additional skills
Unless its some kind of an ability or what was mentioned above, yeah they're stuck. Every so often when my players level up I'll throw some extra SDC at them especially if they have been through a lot physically. Anywhere from a couple D6's to 10 points or so. I've given more but I was running a pretty big heroes game that was in its 10th year and they were going up against some pretty broken NPC's and plot devices. Not really broken but just some hefty JLA/JSA type of stuff.
Might look into Ninjas and Super Spies, Mystic China, they have body hardening skills that may apply to adventurers that have been through the ringer. Adjust the bonuses and take out lines in the description and you can make some cool rewards for your players.

Re: Increasing SDC and additional skills
For most races it takes aquiring physical skills to increasing the char's SDC.
The exceptions are listed in their racal stats.
