Thoughts on my campaign

Unread post by Jerell »

So the campaign really started under another GM, it was a Rifts Merc campaign around Lone Star. The rifts GM went his separate way for a while and that campaign fell off. Almost... Until I decided to take over the campaign, GM for the group again and move it to the Colorado Baronies. I took over from 2008-2011, the campaign went on hold for a year and half as I went over seas again. I've been back recently and began GMing the same campaign where it left off.

Now back in the 08-11 run I had introduced a few Invid into Rifts Earth, there was one adventure where the party was hired to track down what had happened to some kidnapped farmers close to Wilmington (Invid were a-rustlin' up slave labor for a protoculture farm). The powerarmor pilot even managed to find a rifted/downed Horizant and scavange a Devi Cyclone later on another adventure.

In the end of 2011 run the group had boarded a super dimensional TW train and started visiting other planets. Traveling around planets and/or dimensions via train was a cool and fitting expansion from the new west I thought. One of my better ideas for the campaign I thought. Now I'm thinking I want them to get involved in the Three Galaxies, as a handful of Uh-mericahn speakin' new westerners in the Three Galaxies just sounds like a good time waiting to happen.

I was thinking about having them link up with some Robotech forces in the Thundercloud Galaxy, and then have the Minion War go crazy in the Three Galaxies. I've even been considering having the Invid Flower of Life be able to grow on one planet in the Thundercould. Robotech in Rifts Three Galaxies is always something I wanted to try. Anyone have any good experience with that?

Nope.

But remember that the Flower of Life cannot grow withing a mile of a ley line, so if you want to have it growing somewhere, make sure it's a fairly ley-line-free area.

Thanks, I was not aware of that. May I enquire as to the source?
