Carpet of Adhesion - I know. A staple spell for ANY spell slinger. Thought about hanging from the ceiling? Use this spell on the ceiling, levitate up and BOOM, instant suspension. Want to interrogate someone? CoA their face to the ground/wall. Hard to breath when your face is smashed stuck to the ground. Lose gravity in your ship? CoA the floor underneath ya. Sure you can't move, but it beats floating around aimlessly. The list goes on about useful instant fly paper can be...

Energy Field is a quick, cheap way to temporarily divide up a large group into more manageable chunks. Don't let them use it against you though - remember, you can always cancel a spell when you want.

Cleanse will remove your scent, allowing you to throw off anyone or thing tracking you by your physical smell.

Negate Poison/Toxin to instantly sober up. Cure minor disorders to deal with pesky hangovers.

I used Superhuman Endurance once to keep a near-death soldier alive long enough to question him, but I had no intention of saving his life - we just wanted information.

I use Illusory Wall on my character with the art skill to convey images quickly. Add in Illusion Manipulation and you can make moving picture shows.

Time Slip gives the mage time to cast spells that take more than one action without being interrupted. Use Time Slip from a Talisman for maximum effect.

I'm waiting for an opportunity to cast Magical Adrenal Rush on an enemy, and then immediately cancel it, giving my opponent the penalties from the spell wearing off without requiring a saving throw.

Some nice alternate uses I must say. Especially the sustain on the hungry lion. Nice.

I thought of a nice 2 spell (both low level) combo. Cloak of Darkness (creates a magic darkness that moves with you) and shadow meld (merges you with the darkness that follows you where ever you do). If used at night, or in the right conditions, makes you very hard to detect or even hit.

Just be careful and don't trip over a metal trash can. >.>

Cast subparticle acceleration on enemies' guns at the beginning of the fight, rather than as a direct blast attack - overload their e-clips. The damage is significantly higher, with a blast radius.

A mage in my game created a massive igloo of true day light around some 300 first stage vampires as they swarmed around him. It took him a while and the other players keeping the vamps off him (he was standing in a dome of daylight himself so melee wasn't their favorite place), Then after the dome was raised over them so they had no where to go he filled it in with more light until they were all killed. He cast hundreds of spells to accomplish but it was pretty impressive. Note: This was when Globe of Daylight did 6D6 to vampires instead of them becoming magically immune to it for no reason. Even so, it was an epic scene. I was very impressed with him.

Myself, I have used Encase in Stone on the mouth of a missile launcher when a Glitterboy Killer went to fire a volley at my team. The missile detonated in the tube which caused a chain reaction in the rest of the missiles (and there was only like a 20% chance of that happening!) and the 'bot ended up taking so much damage that it was wrecked (pretty much) and shutdown. I've done a lot of other things too but I am a bit tired so I will come back to this later.

Was any reason (I know weird concept) given for Globe of Daylight no longer hurting vampires?
