Psionicists

The description of this forum opens up with: Diabolists, Techno-Wizards & Psionicists, Oh my!

Out of curiosity, I am wondering if anyone knows if this term has been used in any books, and where, because I haven't come across it. Usually those with psionics are called psychics right?

I'm also kinda wondering where the term 'psionics' itself comes from. It is based on 'bionics' ?

Psionicists....is a aquward word. Looks like they trying to be fancy and took the word psionic and just stuck an '-ist' on the end.

No, I do not know any place in the books that Psionicist(s) is used.

Googling it might work.
---------

Psions are people with psionic powers.
(says the same thing with different words)
Psychics are people with Psychic powers.
(and another way but with a tence change)
A Psion has psychic powers
(saying that again)
A Psychic has psionics.

no, a borg...

that is like saying
if a person from london is a londonite,
Does that make a person from paris a parisite?

Well I just figured out where the term probably originates from...D&D

Considering we're Palladium...

Surely we should conform to Palladium terminology?

Just like in PF is the only place a "Diabolist" isn't a demon/devil worshiper... What WAS Kevin thinking when he named that class? Bad guys only?

Let's just ignore that the way they activate their wards is by invoking demon/deevil lords, the great old ones, and use things like ground up bones and blood to set traps for the unwary.

And that they have to kill things like demons and dyvals to get some of their components, and that they also invoke angels and heros of light...

Doesn't exclude them from being evil

Doesn't make them good

Considering that Xy himself, whatever facade he wears, summons these 'angels', forgive my suspicions about them.
