Really great series of articles about it over at D20...

Keeping a campaign bible: http://www.d20source.com/2009/11/world- ... aign-bible
Campaign bible formats: http://www.d20source.com/2009/12/world- ... le-formats
Campaign Bibles and their scope: http://www.d20source.com/2009/12/world- ... -and-scope

Campaign Briefs: http://www.d20source.com/2009/11/world- ... ign-briefs
Campaign Brief samples: http://www.d20source.com/2009/11/world- ... aign-brief

When are the campaign documents needed? http://www.d20source.com/2009/12/world- ... nts-needed

The whole DM Advice section: http://www.d20source.com/category/dms-only

I do suggest reading the World Building articles... while the stuff is primarily written 3.5/4E, the vast majority of it is setting free stuff that is useful no matter what system or setting, that can be of great use to any GM...

Thank you :)

Hehehe.. I try. But yeah, D20 is a great site... while you're there, check out the other sections. Even if you're not playing a D20 game, great ideas all throughout, in the GM/DM section, the player sections.. hell, everywhere. You'd be surprised at the golden little nuggets you can find.. my favorite is an entire list of every Ioun Stone since the beginning... EVERY SINGLE ONE.... Sure, not so great if you're not playing D&D, but if you're looking for unique magic items for PF, great source to ripoff take inspiration and ideas from..
