Fighting Cormal?
Ok, so Cormal is in the Anvil Galaxy and he's about to east the Splugorth Kingdom. So, the Splugorth and whatever U.W.W. ships they can get to help are about to try to stop Cormal. What would this fleet look like? And how many demon stars do you think Cormal has with him? It doesn't have to be a breakdown to the nth degree. I'm not seeing anything canon anywhere regarding fleet sizes and so forth and was wondering if any of you have ever approached this or if not, what you think there would be present? Essentially it'd be every Splugorth ship and a good amount of U.W.W. since they are alliedish. Any info/thoughts would be helpful. I mean, if they couldn't stop him at Kotus Point, I don't really foresee this working either, but if it at least makes him retreat, it'll buy that system some time anyhow...

Re: Fighting Cormal?
As for fleet sizes, it's really hard to say. both splurgorth and the UWW have astroid-mega-pyrmamids at solar system ley line nexus's that let them instantly teleport ships around, so logistically they can acheive any concentration of force they care to. so the question isn't "how big a fleet can they muster" because they can theoretically muster almost every ship they have, which would be tens of thousands, it's how many do they decided they can commit without uncovering/loosing control of other areas.

Re: Fighting Cormal?
If anyone cares... Rifted to surface of Cormal with U.W.W. and Splugorth alliance in tow. About 50k troops, infiltrated the main castle, killed Halthag and got book. Unfortunately, Klynn was keeping an eye on PC's after P.W. attack and had Anshurr keeping tabs. At last second, rifted in and grabbed the book. Klynn was trying to decode, while Cormal woke and destroyed demon fleet and it's offspring, but then it came to P.W. after Klynn for the book. PC's had been to Klynn's sanctum and tried to rift in, basically, Cormal invaded P.W. with his defenders using his tentacles as a bridge and did causality loop spell in Klynn's Sanctum once they broke through, big mess, book got destroyed, but not before a super smart code breaker got the banishment spell from it. They got out and used that to banish Cormal.

Re: Fighting Cormal?
I'm sure I missed stuff and definitely overly simplified that scenario. Ultimately it was the causality loop spell that caused his undoing, it gave like 15 loops or something of them doing the same thing and failing or dying each time before they got the timing down and made the correct rolls and skills to have it all happen before the next shift. It really was well thought out and played, even after I tossed in Klynn as a wildcard. They also managed to trash the splugorth/u.w.w. alliance right after Klynn got the book. So they are essentially banned from all U.W.W. space by Silverlight and the council and they can't go to Klynn's on level 3 and anytime they are on P.W. Sunaj almost always come after them.
