Sounds like you got a printing error, it happens now and then. I recently had to get a novel replaced as was missing pages from the back and even had some blank pages.

i bought a scifi novel once that was missing 3 whole chapters in the middle of the book. a few pages of one, then it jumped right to a later chapter. right in the middle of a sentence too. i eventually just bought the ebook version when i got a kindle. apparently i didn't miss all that much, but it was odd.

Same thing happened with my copy of Strike Force, it had about 12 extra pages where two of the scenarios were duplicated

My copy of "Nightbane 3: Through the Glass Darkly" has several pages printed on a different kind of paper.
