Extraordinary MA vs. Insanity

Unread post by EricvonEric »

I had an unusual situation come up a few sessions ago. One PC with the ability Extraordinary MA was trying to convince another PC with an insanity that made him distrust human (mutant wolf) to go along with a plan. I improvised a ruling where if the extra MA character made his trust role, I'd allow the wolf to roll save vs insanity. (Although it was kind of a reverse save) If he failed the roll, he'd go along with the plan. As it turned out the first PC made his trust roll and the 2nd succeeded his save and so didn't go along with the plan. Both players thought the ruling was fair and we continued the game from there. I was wondering though, is there an official rule to deal with these kind of situations, or is this just something that calls for improvisation?

Just something that calls for a GM ruling. Palladium relies very heavy on GM's filling in the blanks.

You can have something done good, fast and cheap. If you want it done good and fast, it's not going to be cheap. If you want it done fast and cheap it won't be good. If you want something done good and cheap it won't be done fast. ~ Dark Brandon
