Over the years I've done this for RIFTS, Palladium Fantasy, and now Aliens Unlimited; Basically I prep a character sheet with the base information & O.C.C. skills, then provide a one page summary for the player to use to pick the rest of their skills. On the one page summary are only the skills they can choose from, and a list of what to choose. This was easiest in Palladium Fantasy as the skills list is shorter to begin with, and most classes are limited to a smaller selection of each available category.

But Kev's given me permission to post my Aliens Unlimited Galaxy Guide based quick-gens so I thought I'd bring this up.. The downloads are in my DeviantArt gallery (linked in my sig below). Has anyone else done this before?

No, but it is a phenomenal idea. I will take a look and see.

I just noticed that I included the Spacecraft Pilot O.C.C. skills on the Information Broker character sheet by mistake; fixed it and put the correct file up.

You did this for rifts? How...millions of OCCs...

I did it for first edition Coalition Grunt, Specialist and Technical Officer in RIFTS; In Palladium Fantasy I did it for Longbow Man, Soldier, Wizard and Psi-Mystic.

I have not. But it is a good idea.

I've often thought that combining the Robotech character generation with Rifts (Or Palladium) would be a great idea too.

Yeah, I should do a few one day.

Handy for GM'ing as well.

Lots of use from it, IMO.
