in the love andwar comic, or the new love live alive film give any indications what time of year the invid arrived on earth?
the robotech.com timeline gives the end of the 2nd war (well, zor's destruction of the master's mothership over the mounds) as june 2030.. but the invid arrival just has "2031", nothing more specific than that.
i'm trying to figure out how much time existed between the master's fall and the invid arrival, and right now it could be anywhere from 6 months to over a year. i'd like to narrow it down more if possible.

L&W comic, off hand I don't think so. Let me look.... No, at least not in the 1st issue (only one I have, story didn't look interesting) doesn't establish anything other than 2031. It looks like the vegetation is still green, which could narrow the window a bit (unless the release of the flowers altered Earth's climate, or they have an exceptionally warm winter obviously).

given what happened to the planet with the orbital bombardment, i'd imagine that once the immediate effects ended (a brief period of greenhouse effect and heavy rains as water vapor precipitates out, followed by a few years of 'nuclear winter' from suspended particulates in the atmosphere..) colder temps would be typical.. and the mounds are supposed to be northerly.. (please don't start a debate over the location of the SDF-1), so if the area is still green, odds are it would be mid summer. (winter would last longer, and spring come closer to what we consider summer.. with summer being rather short before fall. little ice age like conditions)

so that would imply about a year between the end of the war and the arrival of the invid..
