The SDF-1 opened up a hyperspatial tube and 1 Second Stage Lensman falls out from the period before Children of the Lens. He's got his lens and all the knowledge contained in his starkly inconcievable mind. He cannot get back home, nor can he call Mentor for help, so no whistling up Grand Fleet.
Which one would be most helpful to humanity?

Wow! Bringing out the old-school in me! I haven't seen Lensman since... um... high school. Circa 1994.

I haven't read that in ages....
At least it's not a Gray Lensman...those guys could kill the entire crew of a dreadnought with just a thought(amplified through their Lens, of course).
However, a good resource for those unwilling to read the entire series, GURPS put out a Lensmen RPG book that goes into detail about the ALTERNATE HISTORY of the Lensmen 'verse, starting with, among other things, the Cuban Missile Crisis going critical, and microchips never being developed(the Lensemen 'verse works on vacuum tubes and slide rules, and the engineers in the Galactic Patrol could probably give the Dune 'verse's Mentats a run for their money when it comes to mathematical calculation). The idea was, according to the Old Intelligences behind the evolution of the Lensemen, that computers made people machine-dependent and mentally weak(thus reducing the incidence of 'superbrains' and psionics).

Well the 2nd stagers are the next step above Gray Lensmen-- they're the ones who got one on one training with Mentor. So it'd eitehr be Kinnison, Worsel, Tregnosee, or Nadrack.

Then basically the enemy's boned if the Lensman gets aboard. And given that Nadrack's more akin to an Alien Intelligence, roll for on-sighting Horror Factor as well.
About the only Robotech antagonist I figure would stand a chance MIGHT be the Regis, since she's effectively (minor) goddess-tier, especially in her energy form.
The Regent? Delamater-chow.
Robotech Masters? Zwilnik slaughter.
Dolza? Space axe to the head. Split that Boskone pate down the middle.
Zentraedi fleet? Okay, numbers might tell in the absence of the Galactic Patrol to balance things. It might be a matter of Kill the Queen, but the Swarm Keeps on Coming. Still, the plan then might be to ID the key troublemakers(like Khyron) and selectively wack them.
