I'm wondering if anyone could lend a hand here... (newbee)

Hey guys:
I ordered After the Bomb 2nd. ed. and would like to learn the game by plunging in and GMing it right away. That said, could anyone supply me with some ready made mutant antagonists complete with set abilities, SDCs and hit points?
Ideally, I'd like some basic, low level road hogs (preferably pig people), and some other basic nasties all set to go.
Thanks if you're able to help out.

I have a few beasts you might be able to use here:
http://atbwarehouse.blogspot.com/search/label/bestiaryI'll work on a few Road Hog antagonists for you. Are there any specific traits you'd like incorporated with them or avoid including? (Psionics, Animal Powers, other)
-EDIT- Do you specifically want "Pig People" characters, or will any Swine breed do?

I'm really just looking for orc-like badies to go up against.
Thanks again.

Hey Rali, any one is fine I guess.
I'm too new to the setting to know much about the Road Hogs really.

You can get an official PDF of Road Hogs from DrivethroughRPG for only $5
[link]. I wouldn't use it for more than background info and ideas though.
Rough outline of the Road Hogs; they are the biker gang that took control of all of the other northern biker gangs ("Join or Die") and now controls the western portion of what was Oregon State. They are a more organized version of the East Coasts Wolf Barbarians, and have a shadow backer that supplies them with weapons to help maintain their power in the area. Only 25% of the Road Hogs are mutant pigs, and their leader is a mutant cheetah.
Of course, that's based on the old sourcebook. Your version of the west coast could be something entirely different.

Cool, thanx man.
Yeah, I just received Road hogs in the mail today, and have After the Bomb 2nd ed.
I'm planning on a fairly serious, gritty game. I enjoy Rifts, but would like a post-apoc game that's more sci-fi, and less fantasy (magic) right now.
I'm thinking this might be it. I'm kicking around the idea idea o' using some vehicles/mecha from Rifts, and may call all MDC, SDC, and get rid o' Armour Ratings altogether. I have no idea how this will affect the game.

I only had time this weekend to put together a generic low level swine Road Hog. I'll roll up two named Road Hog lieutenants for you this week.
Generic Low Level Swine Road Hog Thug
*These thugs typically travel in groups of 2 to 5. It is rare to catch one on his/her own.
Alignment: Typically 5% Unprincipled; 30% Anarchist; 25% Miscreant; 30% Aberrant; or 10% Diabolic
Disposition: Arrogant, belligerent, and unpleasant towards any non-Road Hog
Size Level: 11 SDC: 55 Hit Points: 17
Body Armor: Studded Leather Armor AR: 12 SDC: 28+1D10
Attributes: IQ 11, ME 9, MA 11, PS 19, PP 8, PE 12, PB 9, Spd 11
Human Features: Hands: Full, Biped: Full, Speech: Full, Looks: None or Partial
Age: 15+1D8 Weight: 230lbs
Powers: None
Psionics: None
Level of Experience: 1st or 2nd Level
Level of Education: None, typically illiterate. Most Road Hogs initiates are only interested in how to fire a weapon and ride a motorcycle. Beyond that, individual Road Hogs are on their own in learning a profession or anything that would be considered academic.
Skills of Note: Pilot Motorcycle or Truck 64%, Vehicle Weapon Systems 50%, HtH: Basic, WP Blunt, Plus two Weapon Proficiencies of Choice: Knife, Chain, Pistol, or Shotgun
Attacks Per Melee: 4
Melee Combat Bonuses: +1 to Strike, +4 Damage, +2 Parry, +1 Dodge, +2 Roll with Punch/Fall/Impact

Hey thank you so much Rali; I really appreciate it.
As an aside, what would be the size of an average human? 8 or 9?

Going by the Mutant Human section of AtB, Size Level 11 is the average. Also, if you look at the stats for Emperor Christian and Prof Sybek from the EoH, they are both Size Level 11, as is Wilbur from 'A Journey to Boar's Town'.

He has learned to communicate with his comrades through grunts, barks, hollers, and rough sign language. In combat, he is very focused, and will continue a fight until his opponent is incapacitated, dead, or is called off by a superior ranking Road Hog. He has also been known to use his fellow bikers bikes as weapons in combat; throwing them or clubbing opponents with them. Ominus is in charge of a group of five Road Hogs (three on bikes, two in a truck) that roam the southern portion of the Road Hog territory near village of Dorris near the old California/Oregon border on Highway 97 (considered a back road in Road Hogs). Their main encampment is at the Cal Ore Cafe located just north of town.
Special Weapons: Ominus wears a heavy 6ft long spiked chain wrapped around each forearm, which he can remove to use as a weapon (2D4+19 Damage). He is also carries around a 5ft club with a chunk of concrete at the end (2D6+19 Damage).
Special Vehicle: Ominus gets around in one of two ways. First is on a customized Quad ATV, or if that's not available (i.e. wrecked) he'll jump on the back of a truck.

I hope these help you with your campaign. I think the next thing I need to work on is a Road Hog character background.
Please note that I made a change or two to the Generic Road Hog character post.

I'm planning to run this as heavy post-nuke, but I want to port over some Rifts equipment. I'm wanting the human group to be more like the Coalition.
|Rules wise, I'm not sure if I should give things like skelebots a straight MDC to SDC conversion point for point and then give them AR, or convert all damage to MDC and avoid AR altogether.
Basically, I want this campaign to be more sci-fi, so while psionics will be o.k., magic is out.

The Human Elite are already being supplied by the Empire of Humanity -- and the EoH was the inspiration for the Coalition in Rifts -- so why not swap the Human Elite with the EoH.

If you want to raise the bar a bit, up the stats on the Empire of Humanities Security Bots, vehicles, armor and weapons. You'll probably have to work a bit to find the right power balance to fit with your group and your campaign.
