I own both After the Bomb 2nd ed. and Road Hogs.

In Road Hogs, vehicles have both an SDC rating, and an AR with armour SDC.

A roll over the AR inflicts damage to the SDC of the vehicle, while a roll under the AR damages the armour SDC only.

In After the Bomb however, I get vehicle SDCs yet no mention of armour.

In the back of the book, both an armoured helicopter and an armoured tank are mentioned, but they both only have AR and armour sdc listed, AND the rule under the listings states that rolling under the vehicle AR inflicts no damage whatsoever, while rolls above do full damage.

Hmm...

Many combat rules have changed since Road Hogs. In addition to the AR/SDC change, the Vehicle-to-Vehicle Combat skill is gone.

Current vehicle combat rules are located in Heroes Unlimited 2nd Edition (pages 83 - 86).
