Hm... not sure if anything happened to him, but it looks like his hosting account on GoDaddy may have been closed or suspended.

The Facebook page is still up, but it looks like you can only get the illos, and not the text of his extrapolations on various vehicles.

I doubt it's that... when a web host closes a page due to a copyright infringement claim, the usual approach is to make the page a redirect to a message indicating the site was taken down for copyright reasons. There IS a message from the web host that's not displaying properly on that page, but it's a "domain parking" advertisement from GoDaddy that suggests that the site is either not available due to either the closure of the hosting account or the site having no pages.

It looks like it died due to simple lack of renewal, nothing more.
It's a bit sad, because honestly, today a huge number of robotech (as opposed to macross) pages are either gone, ignored and abandoned (the author hasn't done anything for X-years and the page is just up due to inertia) or just place holders. It's a sign of just how far robotech has fallen in recent years.
