(Gleefully stolen from the SJGames forurms. Somebody has to be able to
use this an adventure seed.)

US listening post during WWII. Due to "unknown reasons" they could
hear transmissions from all over the world. But the facility was shut down
after the war. I didn't even know the FCC had an Intelligence Division!

Ley line? Nexus? Gigantic magic rip (or whatver BTS1 called them)?

Perhaps it's a perfect site for sorcerous rituals. If it collects EM radiation
like that, maybe it's an Essence trap as well. Sounds like you need to
saddle up and disrupt that ritual taking place.

Probably because the AN/FLR-9 "Elephant Cage" Antenna could do the same. There were 9 now there is only the one at JBER in AK
