Faerie Bot RCC questions?

So we have a player looking to pay a Faerie Bot and there are a few things I was wondering.

Do they get a hand to hand skill? And what level can they buy up to?

Should they add their PE to their starting PPE balance?

And what skills should they be getting from the Techno-wizard OCC?

1.) The RCC does not start with a Hand to Hand skill, per the RUE secondary skills list, and the D-Bees of North America available skills for the RCC they can purchase Hand to Hand basic as a secondary skill. As-written this is their only available Hand to Hand skill.

2.) The RCC does not state that PE is added to the PPE base. Though I would say this is more a GM call at this point, since such is so common in that regard, however if being strict 'by the book' then no they do not.

3.) The only skill from the TW OCC they get is the unique "Techno-Wizardry Construction" skill. The rest are specified in the OCC write-up in D-Bees of North America.

One random aside is from rifts black market faerie bots can I believe take the black market refurbisher OCC if you want a different set of skills. The thought of a sleezy teensy faerie bot black marketeer makes me giggle every time I think about it hehe.

Ah yes, the refurbisher, the OCC that can be taken by multiple RCCs that cant take OCCs. Good stuff! :ok:

Yup they are so black market they break ALL OF THE LAWS.

re: #3. Well there is some overlap though in TW OCC/Faire Bot RCC skills in relevant areas that there is no real need to get the skills from the TW OCC. The Faire Bot would also have the "Ley Line Piloting" ability at the TW level since they are TWs.

They might even have unlisted skills depending on how one views their "Eeb" and its appropriate operational skill (cybernetic extension for none, "vehicle" for appropriate vehicle skill, or PA/'bot piloting which would give them Robot Combat). I think we can rule out them using their telemech powers for several reasons (duration/ISP cost, and that such things don't work on TWdry which the Eeb is per text). Fluff text is clear though it is not a cybernetic extension either.

If the "Eeb" is considered a 'bot vehicle, then Rifts SB1o/r 'bot OCC could theoretically be used to give them additional bonuses either from the baseline or later customization IMHO.
