I'm really wanting to work in a community of high tech dwarves into my games. My thinking is that they would become experts in high tech weaponry, robots, and power armor. Is there a straight up power armor pilot OCC anywhere? and/or has anyone used the coalition elite rpa occ as a base for something like this?

Merc PA pilot RUE
Merc Robot pilot-RUE
SF PA pilot - NGR?Triax 1
(many classes use PA those strike me as ones that focus on it.)

I should probably pick up the ultimate edition. I have always just played with the old school main book.

Anvil Dwarves are pretty awesome especially combined with the CAF Fleet Officer occ.

Robo slammer head hunter varriations in Canada would probably be the best choice if you have it. (you have the book where head hunters where cyber PA pilots.) If I recall the PA they use is faster than other people.

If you want a great pilot there's the Turbo-Jocky in Dimension Book 3.
A dwarfen Psi-Tech could also push the envelope pretty well.

Palladium Dwarf Phaeton Juicer would be a phenomenal pilot as well

I like this...a lot. I also really like the idea of a dwarf dinosaur hunter...next game I play will have a race restriction, only palladium dwarves.

you should also Note that Operators usually start with a PA or Robot, so that would be an option as well. would not be as optimized for mecha combat, but the ability to repair and maintain their own bot might be handy.
if you need dwarf specific bots, one quick way would be to just use the regular Titan robot line stats (light, medium, and combat bots) as those are fairly generic in capabilities, and you could easily fluff them as having a dwarvish aesthetic.

I don't know about high tech dwarves, but Columbia in SA1 and Queens Harbor in SB4 have Techno-wizard Dwarves. Phaseworld dimension books also open up dwarves in space, but IIRC they are still more techno-wizard than pure high tech.

I'm pretty sure SA1 does not have any OCCs an RCCs for those dwarves. They talk about them, but I think you are just supposed to used Palladium Fantasy dwarf RCCs or something.

SA1 does not have any OCCs for the dwarves. I was attempting to highlight the known communities with dwarves on Rifts Earth, as the OP was looking to create a high tech dwarven community.

Exactly. My original idea was that a group of dwarves came to earth sometime during the dark ages. They found the abandoned remains of Cheyanne mountain and set up shop there. Studying golden age technology and science the dwarves quickly became acclimated to the strange new world they live in. The new inhabitants of the mountain began building and populating. Within a hundred years a few hundred dwarves became a few thousand. With their continued success and mastery of their reclaimed technology the dwarves dug deeper into the mountain and set up outposts in the Rockies opening up trade with native American tribes and travelers. Once the dwarves had established a thriving community and industry ( 100PAish) leaders wanted/needed more information about the world so the began sending scouts and adventures into the world...

I would use the dwarves in Pantheons of the Megaverse (conversion book 2). Strip out the RCC (if it is considered an RCC) stuff and go from there.

In the PB systems Dwarf is a
Race, not an RCC. Just like Human is a race. The only ""Dwarf RCC"" is in the RCB2 book.
