So after reading the "I Am Legion" Sourcebook I noticed that there are numerous references to unprinted material, especially in the stuff that was not previously in The Rifter. I check Chuck's DA to see if there were any illustrations that he posted on any of it and tried searching here in the forums but could not find anything. So I compiled a list of these "undocumented" new references. Anyone have any additional information on any of them?
New O.C.C.

Re: "I am Legion" Missing References
so, there is a rifter with more love for technojackers. (number 70). i don't know if that's where the technojacker stuff is (i don't own it yet), but that would be my first guess on where to look.
the toy soldier... i know i've read something somewhere. i can't remember if it's the forums or if it was the stuff found in I Am Legion. i do recall premier (Chuck Walton) starting a thread on these forums discussing tables like the ones in I Am Legion for building a great house, and discussing different kinds of great houses etc, which looks like it was probably used to make the great houses in I AM Legion. but i'm not sure if the OCC would be there.
i've checked my old word files of stuff i've copied from these forums from waaaaaay back (i'm not sure if they do regular wipes of old content, but if they do i suspect some of these will have been wiped because most of them i copied in 2009) and didn't find any of the other stuff for you.
with that said... slappy and premiere (or, as they are known irl, Chris Kluge and Chuck Walton) have a bunch more stuff that they've turned in to kevin that they would *like* to see published, but which is somewhere in a giant pile of stuff on kevin's "to-do" list. i believe someone else has mentioned they've done some work too, though who it is escapes me at the moment (looking through the names of people that have done stuff on the forums here, maybe Guy Ledouche? I don't *think* ectoplasmic bidet has said anything along those lines). maybe even galactus kid (RL name escapes me at the moment, but i'm thinking of the guy who was working on rifts scandinavia)?
anyways, point being, those may be references to things in books that are essentially written and sitting on kevin's desk, but are currently not published. there is a ton of splicers material stuck in the pipeline waiting to see the light of day.

Re: "I am Legion" Missing References
Thanks Shark_Force. That is exactly what I was thinking that they were references to unpublished material. I was just hoping that maybe Chuck could clarify such. It is indeed rather unfortunate that such a great IP is effectively stuck in limbo with so much unpublished material due to the bottleneck that is the manner in which Palladium handles things. I really think that this game could be their number two game after Rifts if it was properly supported with a new book or two every year.

Hey Everyman!!!! Welcome to the world of the Spliced, no punt intended as you read the following.
I Am Legion was originally written and submitted with a lot of additional information. However, as it was reviewed, it was decided by the higher ups to be split into an adventure sourcebook. This was then shelved for some time before being revised for a Rifter series of articles, later to be compiled for the compilation adventure sourcebook that was released. Due to publication size limitation (page count), we had to edit some things that will appear in future Sourcebook releases. That includes all of the OCCs, Warmounts and machines you listed as well as the How to Build your Great House creation tables, stats on the Engineers and Librarians, plus expanding on the setting. Ideally with character sheets to boot, fingers crossed.
The OCCs you listed like the Brood Punk, Troop Master, and Toy Soldiers are classes that we plan to release in the future sourcebooks that continue to expand the world of Splicers. Some are specific Great House creations, while others are new Resistance specialist. You did some excellent digging/research for the Slappy write ups and they are nearly the same from what you have found here on the forums.
BTW, the Puppet Master is the NPC at the weapons facility in Bell Lake.
There is so much more that we want to share, between what Chris "Slappy" Kluge and I have already created and submitted, as well as two sourcebooks submitted by Galactus Kid, Guy Ledouche and Krispy plus GKs brother in law who helped co write several Splicers Rifter articles.
Unfortunately, the PB production pipeline is so congested and the current itinerary calls for other Intellectual properties to be produced first.
So while that is happening, my goal is to continue to work on the Splicers sourcebooks that we submitted via art and fine tunning a few things, so that they can be ready to go with art and scripts.
