Hello,
I am returning to HU after 20+ years of taking paper rpg's off. I started playing HU then moved to rifts when I was in High School. I was wondering if there are any HU podcasts around? I listen to a few DND podcasts and just wanted to see if my other favorite rpg had anything on the podcast world.

Re: Heroes Unlimited PODCASTS?
The MegaDumbCast does an episode every day discussing the dumbest thing on every page of Heroes Unlimited second edition (second printing). The podcaster has a real love of, and fond memories for the game and system, so it isn't just another person constantly tearing it down. It's been a real enjoyable run so far. He started the podcast with Ninjas and Superspies, so when he gets to pages of Heroes Unlimited that have mostly repeated content, he instead does a segment about the most wonderful thing on a random page of Transdimensional TMNT. Those episodes in particular are treasures. Here's some links:

Someday I plan to do a re-listen of the entire series and just take notes on the heroes and villians he incidently creates as he talks about the art, the power categories, the powers, and everything else. He's created dozens of characters and every one of them has seemed like either a fun character or at least a fun NPC.

Strange Corpse Possee was recorded game sessions of a Heroes Unlimited campaign. They aren't broadcasting anymore but you can access their catalog here: http://strangecorpseposse.blogspot.com/

Re: Heroes Unlimited PODCASTS?
The Character Creation Cast did three episodes where they made Heroes Unlimited characters and discussed the game, the system, Palladium in general, etc. I couldn't listen past the first hour of the first episode for a variety of reasons but maybe it's your cup of tea?
Episode 12.1, Heroes Unlimited
Episode 12.2, Heroes Unlimited Continued
Episode 12.3, Heroes Unlimited Concluded
