There've been a couple good plot possibilities lately in the news:

This one is in Palladium Books' own backyard!

This one is just plain old creepy...

Then there's this website that offers a ton of ideas:

Where does one begin??

You should really check these guys out. They have a ton of good stuff on their web site, and if you're into podcasts they do a fantastic job presenting things. The inspiration that can be mined from them is almost infinite. Highly recommended.

Have to agree this Russian one is really freaky. I love doing this for games, sifting through weird stories and seeing what from the real world is weird enough to add into a game. History channel is good for this with all the Nazis in UFOs and ancient aliens stuff they run these days.

Wow! You weren't kidding. How did you find that little gem?

I like to go on YouTube and look up the conspiracy guys for ideas. There is this one called disclose truth TV and another one called bright insight that I really enjoy browsing. Sorry, I didn't realize I didn't finish that sentence before posting.

Conspiracy theories are always an excellent place to do research for any RPG in my opinion. I'll have to peep these out when I get a chance.

I have been on an Ito kick recently. I mean reading the horror mangas of Junji Ito. Most of it would not make for rewarding roleplaying, but small stories here and there would adapt to BtS beautifully. I did that just last night when I made an adaptation of "The Intruder" a short story for a group of amatuer paranormal investigators with a nifty haunted house vibe.

Other stories offer nice elements of a story. The Face Thief is a good monster. Shiogi is an excellent villain (an elementary school kid with a talent for curses and booby traps). The Town With No Streets and Map Town are both a good settings even though the stories would not make for good adventures.
