So I was thinking about changing them slightly, in that I was either going to make them able to control / manipulate light or darkness - only it was going to be more like Lightforce or Darkforce in Marvel.
Another alternative I was musing was to make them able to control light and dark, such that they can make constructs, Green Lantern style.
Which one do people think is better?

If your looking to rewrite them, giving them light constructs might work.

As long as they don't have to use rechargeable rings...
The "Protector's Council" might object.

Lol.
Who are the Proector's Council?
I was thinking more a Cloak and Dagger approach from Marvel actually.

Think DC, and Ryan Reynolds.

Deadpool 2 retconned that, it never happened.

Except it did...after all, Paradox Protection - a product I sell to all the celebrities I can stand, prevents them from creating a paradox by going back in time and kill themselves. I sold one to him about 2 years before he filmed 'Lantern.
Don't care what anyone says...it was a good movie, even if I really dislike their depiction of Oa.
(Mind you, the funniest part of the movie was the two idiots a couple rows behind me when I saw it... One loudly proclaimed that GL was his favourite Marvel character!)

We got a Green Lantern series coming soon I believe.
So that should hopefully be good.

And it does me no good if it is not available on basic cable services.
After paying on the order of $120 a month on cable and internet, I am NOT paying an extra $30 for specialty channels, or an extra $15 a month (per) for (one or more) streaming service(s).

The cables and streaming junk is getting out of hand. I refuse to pay extra for cbs or disney just to watch 1 or 2 programs.
