How do you determine how far your character can Leap?

Depends on the game and the book, but look under the Acrobatics or Gymnastics skills.

KC is right.

My house rule has done me well in the past. Feel free to use it. The formula for leaping in feet is...

Running start (distance):

Normal PS... = PS x 0.5
Augmented/Bionic PS... = PS x 1
Supernatural PS... = PS x 6

Standing start (distance) = Running start * 0.4
------------------------
Running start (height):

Normal PS... = PS x 0.25
Augmented/Bionic PS... = PS x 0.5
Supernatural PS... = PS x 4

Standing start (height) = Running start * 0.4

If PS for leg strength differs, then use Leg PS.
I find that for robotic strength, leaping stats are usually provided.

There isn't a default leaping distance in RUE, although many beings/classes/PA have one specific to them. Later prints of RMB had one, as does ATB2 and the HU GM Guide. There's a FAQ post which is good for page numbers.
