Scholarly Adventure | Gaming Company Interactions

Unread post by desrocfc »

The Bazaar #41: Gaming Company Interactions. More of a current-events post I get to every once in a while. As word that Pinkerton thugs-for-hire is still a thing, we find out through a bizarre case that Wizards of the Coast has ties to them. I present a few comments on this scenario, but also a contrast of Palladium Books with WotC and others on how they interact their customer base, how they leverage Third Party Content Providers (TPPs) and protection of Intellectual Property, and reasonable expectations for companies you support with your hobby dollars.

What are your thoughts on the Pinkerton/WotC scenario?
What are your expectations from Palladium Books/ any other gaming company you support?
