Region equivalendy
Too lazy to search the huge amount of posts. If the wolfen are based off of the Romans, the timiro and easrern territories after medival Europe, what are all the other regions modeled after? Like, is the western empire more like middle ages middle east or feudal Japan etc? Thanks in advance to the hive mind.
Re: Region equivalendy
Hard to say, they are old and decadent, so could be many.
for me they were very like the Tsuranuanni Empire

Re: Region equivalendy
Kiralon, thanks, but i mean every region. Is Yin Sloth jungle like the Aztecs? Land of the South winds? Bizantium?
Re: Region equivalendy
I started playing when few addon books were available so for me is the following
Timiro - Pretty much straight up from the book
Eastern Territories - Feudal Britain pre Arthur
GNW - Romans in wolf clothing
Northern Hinterlands - Ice Barbarians
Ophids Grasslands - Peloi, Best horses and light horseman in the world, the horses are part fae and are often more intelligent then their riders.
Western Empire - the Tsurani with vampires
Yin Sloth Jungles - Aztecian + lost empires
LotSW - Matriarchal Society, Best spies in the world.
Floenry Isles - Pirates of the Carribean (Think Sid Meir c64 style)
Lopan - Island of the Druids
Phi - Land of the mystics (not originally psi mystics but is now)
Land of the Damned - where player characters go to be retired
Old Kingdom - Lost empires, lost magic, big forest, weird rivers, fungus forests, underground cities.
Baalgor Wastelands - Where players go to be eaten by tuskers or get beaten up by natives who have access to Ninjas and superspies martial arts. Influenced by dune of course, as it even has sandworms, i mean sand wyrms.

Re: Region equivalendy
My version of the wolfen are a society in tension; their traditional ways are medieval Scandinavian ("Viking"), while their Imperial ways are Roman.

Thanks for the breakdown. Had similar thoughts for most of the things you wrote. Just wanted a bit of confirmation. Much appreciated.
