Questions about rifts

Unread post by firefrog600 »

I was wondering what are all the examples of a being, item, spell, ability, etc etc that can permanently shut a rift down, destroy a ley line, close off a specific dimension from travelling through a rift, prevent travel through a dimensional nexus, and so on? Things that essentially prevent something from going through certain rifts any examples are welcomed.

All rifts are permanently closed when they are closed. Nothing need be done to keep it closed, so I'm not sure the question.

There exists nothing that can permanently destroy a ley line. They can be temporarily shut down or redirected, but never destroyed. That's like asking how to permanently destroy an ocean current or jet stream. They're phenomena of the natural flow of magic energy, not an object. You can redirect them or dam them, but never destroy them.

You can have something done good, fast and cheap. If you want it done good and fast, it's not going to be cheap. If you want it done fast and cheap it won't be good. If you want something done good and cheap it won't be done fast. ~ Dark Brandon
