I can't pick up new RPG material until the end of this month. However, I do have a question about the Sorcerer's Revenge book. Is it worth picking up?

Putting aside any thoughts on the SoT series as a whole...
- The book is almost 50% (mostly d-bee) Tolkeenite NPC writeups. Which might be useful and could be repurposed content.
- There are also several encounter tables for quick rolling ... Tolkeenite, CS, villains, etc. I use the discovered loot table and sub-tables (especially the skelebot graveyard sub-table) often.
- There's some other stuff like an adventure and juggernauts, but I've not looked closely at that stuff.
- I think the featured RCCs are in the DBees of NA world book
Hope that helps you decide one way or the other.

Like Grazzik, I have ... issues... with the SoT series writ-large, but ultimately the books provide a pretty expansive campaign setting GMs can really sink their teeth into.
I did a book review a while back, so it may or may not sway your decision.

If you have SoT 1 it's a good pick, as a stand alone I wouldn't recommend it.

The D-Bees therein are found in WB30 if not elsewhere (Larmac, D'norr Devilman, Auto-G), and a condensed take on the Iron Juggernauts is in Book of Magic. Sorcerers' Revenge has ~45 pages of NPC groups, 15 of tables, 15 of adventure ideas, and a couple on dragon stuff. Some will get more value out of this than others.

It's alright, if you have the SoT series or are planning to get the series, it adds some to the story I guess. That said, I am NOT a fan of how most of the series is handled.
