A small problem with the Empowered class...

I just got PU2 yesterday, and I had noticed that examples for the Empowered are noted as Batman & the Punisher. I thought 'Ahh, at last tables that enable the player to create the legendary anti-hero type.' But I was mistaken.
Don't get me wrong, the writing is good, but being a long time Batman reader, I didn't notice any physical impairment (other than the possiblility of needing glasses after staring at the bat-computer screen for hours at a time), so I was wondering if there was something cut from the entry, or do I slip in the Insanity rules from HU2? (and if so, where in the creation process?)

Well its simple. for the empowered Heroes B-Man and The Punisher, I think they where referring to the second step of the character creation. Overcoming the Disability. Now I don't know much about B-Man and next to nothing about punisher. They both would fit the "Witness to Tragedy" Cure. As to their disability? Wasn't B-Man afraid of the dark and being alone as a kid? Or maybe "Sissy Little Rich Boy" Became a medically founded disorder? As for the Punisher? Well last time I read about his exploits he seemed rip for the funny farm harvest. Anti-Social Disorder to the Extreme.
