I just ran a MIT game last Thursday. I'd written up a streamlined version of the original rules that fits on the front and back of a 5x8 index card as well as cleaned up stats for weapons & vehicles some time ago. Putting them to the test resulted in a complete success. The game played extremely smoothly and the adventure itself, which involved the PCs fighting off the second Mechanoid foray onto Gideon-E as Orz militia along the coastline repelling a D-Day like assault, was very exciting for all involved - one of the best I've ever played in.
While I intended the game to be a one-shot adventure, I'm now seriously considering a full campaign and have tossed around the idea of making my rules available in some way. I wonder if Palladium would be interested in publishing any MIT material in the Rifter?

Pre-Phase Tech nerf, the Promethians wouldn't have a problem. Afterwards... I think a Machine Man army would be interesting.

Do you think there would be shortages on motor oils and copper wireing if a Galaxy sized army of Machine men went to war?Mark Hall wrote:Pre-Phase Tech nerf, the Promethians wouldn't have a problem. Afterwards... I think a Machine Man army would be interesting.
