If possible,make the dimension able to support the symbiotes and other items that die when taken from Wormwood.

Actually, I don't think that would work. The symbiotes are linked to Wormwood. You would have to figure a method of adapting a spell (I can't think of the name right now) that causes the symbionts to become linked with the wearer (mind you, it apparently makes the wearer a PPE vampire), and turn that into one of the environmental settings...
However, it's been a while, but if you can create the Astral Domain "adjacent" to the Wormwood dimension you might be able to avoid this complication... Anyone want to pose this question to the book's author? :D

Maybe make a minor adjustment to the whole "humans of Wormwood being M.D.C." thing, and just add S.D.C. and/or A.R. to humans who visit this domain. Also, maybe this realm can make minor versions of the crystals used on Wormwood (and maybe crystals actually from Wormwood have a longer duration of life off the living planet and on this plane). Who knows, maybe the realm can have it's own "essence" similar to Wormwood, allowing a type of communion between the creator and the construct.

Limiting psychic powers, to be sure, also it might be interesting to make the realm act like wormwood with regards to symbiotes, crystals, etc. after having the character complete some sort of quest. That way it will feel more like Wormwood but will make such a thing far from common place or easy to do.
