geography questions

okay, so i'm drawing up an atlas of the places my group and i have been to in order to maintain geographical consistency.
but when marking down the locations of some cities, i got a little confused. so maybe someone out there has some answers?
1. Where is Magestar? The description of this place is in the Federation of Magic book, page 53. it says it's located 'northwest' of Dweomer, but nothing else. (coincidentally, so is Psyscape)
2. same book, page 59 says Stormspire is built over the ruins of Lexington, KY. Rifts Aftermath, page 95 and page 108; and Psyscape pages 17 and 158, all say that Soulharvest is built over the ruins of Lexington. So which is it?

I'd put Magestar near Dayton Ohio.

For the other part, well stuff like that is one reason why I simply combined Tolkeen, Lazlo/New Lazlo, Dweomer, Stormspire, Magestar and Dunscun into one entity/Federation and placed it all in Lexington Kentucky. Makes for a lot less crowded continent. I haven't decided where to put Psyscape yet.

Well oddly enough, I grew up, and still live, in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Psyscape is located at Dayton Ohio according to page 27 of Psyscape.

Also going by the map in Psyscape, Dweomer is west of the Scioto River, meaning its practically sitting on Mound City, and would be between Chillicothe and Frankfort. (Well more like Chillicothe and Yellowbud).
Course being west of the Scioto contradicts being between Chillicothe and Kingston.

Magestar could have gone up to perhaps Washington Court House or Greenfield.

RavenShadow wrote:As far as Stormspire, I have no clue. It is a big area though. Conceivably I suppose that Soul Harvest and Stormspire could share Lexington. It is conceivable that they could lie within 25 miles of eachother and still fall within the Lexington Ruins. Soulharvest describes more of a forested area anyway, and that reminds me more of the area north or south of Lexington. Again, I haven't been to Lexington in 10 years though.

i considered that, but the citizens of both cities would end up destroying one or the other if they were in such close proximity.

i think it can only teleport between dimensions. like, i dont think they can just pop out in a new place every week. Plus, the surrounding town doesn't teleport.

I thought that it could teleport to another location in the same dimension and it has happened once when under attack. They just don't like doing it because as you said it leaves the town around it behind, defenceless.
