well, the Gigantes (revised conversion books, page 96) can take any non-coalition OCC and have a small amount of MDC.

Chiang-Ku dragon hatchlings (rifts england) can take any magic OCC, but only get the magic and such, not the skill set for the class.

That's just the ones I can find (just now) by skimming the 4 Three Galaxies books. I can guarentee you can probably find more in Pantheons of the Megaverse, and in the HU Aliens Unlimited and Galaxy Guide, among others...

Oh, and using Pantheons...take ANY being, pin him/her/it to Yggisal(sp!!!) with a rune weapon, and if (s)he/it survives the experience, will have the knowledge of ALL forms of magic - but not the special abilities of any, except those of a 'Walker...

what about a vampire or a werewolf? even better than MDC.

A C'Ro Demon Mage (Mindwerks book) would make a sweet necromancer.
