The official stance is that the old matial arts have not survived on Rifts earth... the problem with Martial arts is finding a teacher. There are some exceptions in Rifts Japan, but that is watered dwon as compared to N&SS... I guess there will be more MA material in Rifts China 2 or 3... whenever that comes out.

BTW... if you and your GM like N&SS, I recommend hunting down the old unrevised version of the rulebook... martial arts got terribly weakened an that revision.

Can Rifts characters choose two styles, like a dedicated martial artist?

No. Even in N&S/Mystic China only two or three classes have this ability.

In Rifts, only classes that are similar in dedication and orientation to the N&S martial artist classes should be able to take more than one style.

If a class has magical or psionic abilities, a great number of skills, or any other advantages it should be restricted to only one martial art style, if it is allowed any at all.
