I like the NGR pretty well, they're not as xenophobic... which means they'll have more allies, and thus survive in the Rifts world more successfully.
Eyes without life, maggot-ridden corpses, mountains of skulls... these are a few of my favourite things.

True but somehow I think that is more humane than being shot outright.

No problems with the NGR.
It is always a bad thing when political matters are allowed to affect the planning of operations (Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, 1943)

I don't think the people as a whole have the will to EXTERMINATE them both, the length of time would be to great. they are all OVER the world, and shifters can summon more at any time.

containment, that, I belive they will settle for. and what is likely to happen.

I dont have any problems with the NGR's policy
other than the fact that I think they should nuke
their enemys turf
Svartalf- if Cherico were a character created in a point game system, he'd have all his scores in geeky skills and his youtube and weird net stuff schticks all paid through a a Terminal Bad Luck (with more nasty GM intervention) disadvantage, and probably an Uncouth (can not have social skills) disad as well...
In an RPG with deadly situations that character would have had to be replaced a dozen times over[

Or being added to the food supply. The NGR was facing a major food shortage, afterall.

Maybe for the first week, until you die of starvation, monsters, or the elements. The NGR's policy was callous and cold-hearted. It was born of fear and inflexibility.

or maybe you find some people who can help you. or manage to help yourself.

you have a CHANCE. that's the point.

The fact that they didn't shoot them themselves doesn't erase their complicity in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent beings. They are little better than the Coalition (who at least have the honesty to commit genocide themselves rather than by proxy).

you act as if the NGR has some strange responosbility to help them. they do not.
