:) Hi every one, I need some help. Doe's any one, know where to find.
Some good Star ship stats. I am mostly looking for small, ships one for my player's. And small military ships, for the villain. Escorts, and patrollers
. And one cruiser for the big guy.

..Here're a few files I put together for my AU game last winter:

Burnish Class Interceptor

Rusty Narb Upper Decks

Rusty Narb Lower Decks

Sim Cargo

System 1

..The deck plans and ship drawing were done in Freehand 3.0, and the System 1 and Sim Cargo pics were done in Poser 4.

..A Swip Fighter pilot had the Burnish Class Interceptor, and the Uteni Bounty Hunter had the Rusty Narb. They did good for themselves, but the power gamer and good gamer's girlfriend killed the campaign. They aren't in the group anymore, but now my group has complained about making characters (they only have five!), so I won't be starting them up on AU for some time now....

..Good gamer and I are working up a space setting similar to that from the show Firefly, with no aliens, just humans in a future space setting; when we're closer to being thru I'll post the background tables we're designing; similar to After the Bomb, you don't pick your characters occupation, you determine it from their life path.

That's a good job on the deck plans, Mike... VERY good job... :ok:

You might as well go ahead and post the stats on the Rusty Narb... :D

..Well, thanks. Would you believe Freehand 3 came on two 800k disks? Kinda buggy at 15 years old, but as you say, it does a nice job.

..I haven't actually written the stats in a nice format like the Burnish class before, but I'll see what I can come up with...

Lonestar wrote:The ships I'm interested in are the TMC, TGE craft. I've been making my own for The TMC but they still seem generic even after removing and adding objects on the craft I've made like 20 different ones ( and no I wasn't bored lol ) including a few pirate craft. Is there any decent programs that allows one to draw without any skill like autocad ?

..The version of Freehand I used for the links above was basically a vector-based drawing program with layers and a snap-to grid. I'm by no means a talented artist, I'm just good with details.

..Of course, that's from fifteen years ago; I shudder to think what the latest version of Freehand has in it to clog the works....

As I'm someone who has worked with PhotoShop for 11 years now (and still learning new stuff every week  ), yeah I think I'd believe it...

Really though, if it's still doing what you need it to do then it's all good. :ok: I've got my old iMac set up in my closet simply to run Poser 2.0 now that I've crossed over to the dark side and am using a PC at home.

Thank's

gadrin wrote:Servo and Madman, have you seen the deckplans drawn by a guy on the web using Windows Paint?

they're remarkable. Star Wars ships.

I can't find the link now but I'll see if I have it saved somewhere.

ah, found it...

Those are some sweet deckplans as well... and a nice variety of them!

Between what Mike posted, and this link of gadrin's, I'm sure there can be found SOMETHING that tickles your fancy, Hell Knight.

..i'm still on my old iMac, hope to get a PowerBook in the spring. Got Poser 4.02 on this thing, but I need to get either a CDRW or an external hard drive to back some of this stuff up so I can put it to use. I've got about 3 gigs of stuffed/ziped files for Poser, from various sites, but only the standard 10GB drive. With everything else I've got, I'm down to less than a hundred megs to play with...

Is Fractal Design even in business anymore? I'd like to get a new copy of Poser for my PC, but can't find it available anywhere.

Back on subject, I'd like to take on a few of the ships illustrated in Mutants In Orbit or Rifts: Manhunter... Of course, there's the issue of having this thing called 'free time.'

EDIT -- the more I look at these plans (all of 'em), the more I'm dying to whip up some HU/Rifts stats and do some sort of space game using 'em... I wonder if my current Loraltonites have sufficient reason to worry? :demon:

..Poser 5.0 was released last year by DAZ3D, who has the most advanced 3D human models for sale; Victoria, Stephanie, Michael, etc all have 10's of thousands of polygons. Big stuff..
