To what extent have you played Chaos Earth?

So, do you have the books? Have you played? What is your experience?
I have the main book and Creatures of Chaos, and will probably pick up Rise of Magic shortly. I'm hoping to run a Chaos Earth campaign starting in October.

Same here. I've been wanting to run a campaign of it for awhile (as well as several other Palladium games), but just haven't had the time

I'm not surprised at the number of people who own the books, but I'm a little surprised why so few have played it? Was it because the game was so incomplete, or what?

'Cause I'm not GMing a Palladium game right now...three AD&D games, yes (with the same people - it depends on who's present, and does get confusing! :lol).

My group has a few other active campaigns going on right now. I have a number of ideas for GM'ing once done with my CS SpecOps campaign however.

I guess it's the same with me. I'm not gaming at all for the moment, having just moved. Starting back up in October though...

I'm pretty much in the same situation. I'm running a Rifts game that everyone is enjoying and has invested a lot in. I do think Chaos Earth would be really fun to play.

I haven't played it because I can never find a group.

While my gaming group has Chaos Earth and the supplements, I just don't like using products that are that incomplete without something very compelling (usually a setting or clever ruleset) to counter it. Chaos Earth isn't all that compelling in any regard, so it's all but guaranteed to remain on the shelf.

I'm not an avid fan of the M.D.C. system and so I havent played Rifts or any other M.D.C. system. However, I do have a crap load of Rifts source book material and other M.D.C. games. I am going to take a stab at CE this coming week end (I have all the books), just to see how it'll pan out. wish me luck.

Just waiting for my other 2 CE books to get here and then I plan on running a campaign.
Haven't decided what I am gonna do just yet
I think I will wait to see what my players want to play and then formulate a plan around that.
I know one of them will want to be a magic-user of some kind so I am waiting till I get Rise of Magic

I enjoyed it so much that in my opinion Chaos Earth will replace my Rifts.
