Macross II Vs Rifts

Before someone screams put it in the Robotech forum, it's Macross, not Robotech, and much easier to keep in line with the MDC ratios.
My question is this, has anyone ever brought in something from Macross II that was NOT a Valkyrie? I was re-reading the books for fun and saw that even the 40 ft mecha were easily more than enough to face off against anything the Coalition or the NGR had. So anyone willing to dispute this one?

yea, bring over Double H. Hyo Hayikawa.
he was a Macross II pilot PC played by a friend. he was insane, he was fun, his higest stat was 13 PS.
his lowest stat. . . was 3 PB
he was ugly as hell, but a whole lotta fun. and we DID bring him to rifts.
he sure as hell didn't fit in, but we had a blast playing with him.
wait, were we talking about meca. . .?

Yeah, sometimes. But I found it was more fun to bring Rifts into Macross II and cause havoc.
Imagine the look on The face of a Marduk Officer flying a gilgamesh II when he sees his leg blown off in one shot by a tiny little silver robot (Glitter boy, heh).
By the way, Where did you get that cool animation? I like that.
may make the stick guy just for the hell of it.

Not Macross, but a Robotech Destroid - Excaliberto be exact
. I like the range of the Particle Beam Gun
, even if the damage are not so high.

So anyone ever post the Metal Sirens' Anti-ship energy pulse? How about correct the "Head shield" to be the VR Sensor Array? What about the SAP "two" being no different than the "one" with the exception of the optional slug throwing railgun holstered on the calf instead of the standard energy weapon systems, and the "head shield" being the firing mode for the beam cannon? What about the SAP's cannon and the primary sidearm of the fighter both being beam weapons. They're designed the same (with an opening on the bottom) which wouldn't make sense for a rail weapon.
Any way, why a Metal Siren (without the Anti-ship pulse) when you can go with a standard Valkyrie with maxed out bits (I think game says 4 but anime shows 5, whatever anime is one more than first print book) and SAP "one"?
Hmm. Bit and SAP mods for all destroids...Sounds like fun.

Well we brought our group over from Macross II (have done it from Robotech as well) It was kinda cool except for the fact that after evading the killer sats in Orbit we decided to make for the planet's surface (we didn't know about the dust cloud) the GM ruled that our shields were barely enough to allow us to land, most of us landed on autopilot as we mostly failed our piloting rolls... but not the autopilot roll... heh.
The valkries got chewed up by some SAMAS (they were Super SAMAS and our GM uses realistic Railguns... ouch) but the two destroids (Tommahawks) smashed the SAMAS like the little toys they were. (Our Railguns were realistic too)
Getting valkries repaired in a Rifts settting isn't easy, everybody wants to steal your mecha... and your missles. Plus since we didn't have metal sirens (we were low level and NOT aces) we were stuck with Regular SAP augmented bots... boring.

How'd your Valkyries get chewed up by some Super SAM's just because your GM was using realistic Railguns? Did you guys forget that the Valks' main weapons were really really big railguns?
