Can't remember the name of the spell off hand, but what it does is damage directly to hit points, even to vehicle and robot crews that enter the area of effect. However, it only reduces the character's HPs by HALF. The killing/knocking out there of must come from other means.
Now, there is a spell (Mystic China) that will cause an electrical field to come into being, and any UNSHEILDED electronics will be fried (it only does a few points of damage).
Now, if you are using wards (from PFRPG), there are several effects that ignore SDC and go straight to HPs, but when used against an armoured person, does the damage to the armour first, then the pilot when the armour is gone.
