As far as I know, there is no bonus. You might be thinking of Mechano-Link from heroes unlimited which has a +20 bonus to piloting and piloting related skills.

In Sourcebook 2 The Mechanoids, Hagan has a power armour that can utilise his power of Telemechanics for additional bonuses. However that is a one-off case made through Archie's superior technology and understanding of psionics.
If Archie can do it though it is at least possible and maybe others could do something similar, although I think the armour itself needs to be made specifically for the individual.
The word "THAN" is important. Something is "better than" something else, not "better then", it's "rather than" not "rather then".

there is none.

the Psi-tech however, which has all telemechanic abilites and an always on telemechanic power, does get bonuses. but none from normal
