Someone should ask NMI about that.

But if your interseted in playing, most of the books have no particular timeline. the specific times "gameworld time" are Main book, Rifts Africa, small jump to Juicer Uprising, leading right into war machine, then a small break befor siege on tolkien. Everything else is kinda happening at the same time.
