Is there such a thing as an anti-magic cloud in Rifts? You might be able to make some kind of time space jammer magic item that can prevent warps and teleports within its range, but that would probably be at least a minor artifact.

The CS would pay dearly for one. If you can mass produce them, you will make a freaking fortune just selling them to the Coalition. Personally I wouldn't allow players to make such a thing, but thats just me.

If I recall correctly, anti-magic cloud gets a saving throw. If you make the save your magical abilities are halved. If you fail then they are totally gone for the duration of the spell, or untill you leave the area. (The mage that casts the spell is immune to it's effects) The only thing I recall being immune to Anti-magic cloud are Rune Weapons/Items. "Normal" magic weapons get saving throws also, with the same effect as a person. I don't recall the spell specifically stating anything about supernatural creatures. But it seems to me that if the books tell us that magic is just as natural to a mage as breathing, then supernatural creatures would be effected also. Also keep in mind how much darn PPE that specific spell costs!! It's so expensive that it SHOULD be able to effect Supernatural creatures like demons and dragons!! Plus under the spell discription it states that most mages believe the spell to be a legend. So a quasy legendary spell, that costs tons of PPE to cast, has a limited area of effect.....Ya that pretty much convinces me that supernatural creatures would lose thier powers while in the cloud!! 8)
