Dimension Book Weapons in Rifts

I was curious why there aren't more dimension book weapons on Rifts Earth. I know the Naruni are busy trying to open the market with their wares, just curious why noone else is. I would think Phase Weapons especially would sell like hot cakes if some enterprising person started selling them here. It would just take one dimensional traveling salesman to start supplying the black market, distribution would take care of itself.

This is something that seems like a game balance issue, it would really screw over the coalition if phase weapons became popular. Is this the reason they aren't for sale on Rifts Earth? Seems like that would make a great sales pitch, I know Tolkeen would have liked some. Once again, just curious...

I Remember there bing a HLS adventure about a Dragon hatchling... and Undead slayer... and a Band of Mercs that bought Phase weapons from a ID-Trader.... they nearly Killed the Hatching... and the Slayer was on there tail to get revenge on them 4 it.....

Phase Weopons are the greatest thing since sliced bread. If you play NPCs realistically, most will SURRENDER as soon as they realize their armour isn't doing its job... so unless your PCs are particularly bloodthirsty, they'll have captured stuff to use/ sell, as well as prisoners to gain info from, brainwash, sell in Splynn, or whatever...

I have to agree, a phase weapon is one of terror more then anything else in Rifts. People are used to having their armor shot, but all of a sudden THEY start taking damage and their armor isn't even breached? That should really put the fear of god in them. Granted if they go up against it enough they'll no what to expect but most people should panic while facing weapons like that.
