Just give them a crowbar and let them whack on a tank for a while.
(Ignore this if you don't actually own a crowbar. Note everybody does.)

Who says that? I thought the real issue was whether someone with supernatural strength who is using an MDC weapon adds the damage together or not.

How strong is the guy doing the wacking?

Normal people no.

You may want to explain to the guy that throwing a .45 calibur bullet by hand and shooting it out of a gun do not do the same damage. I can throw bullets at Doom's facemask all day and not scratch the finish. However, if he loads those bullets into a gun and shoots me, I'm dead-- or at least severely injured. The bullets are the same. It is the amount of FORCE behind the impact that determines damage and not the material itself, at least in the case you are presenting here.

If this clown were attacking somebody with a blade of Kisentite, he could indeed inflict mega-damage on them, but that has to do with the forging process specific to that material.

I refer you again to this.

SDC damage all the way, If he has normal strength. IF he has bionic or supernatural strentgh........MDC damage.

Here are the official answers to the questions...

MDC blunt Object only does improved SDC damage in comparison to it's SDC counterpart due to extra weight and strength of the material, something like one extra die of damage or so, but the only way to inflict MD levels is to be supernaturally strong or at least have a near equivalent to it.

Blade made of MDC material is the same as aove, it only does slightly improved damage unless it has a vibro-system, or sharpened to an extremely fine edge, but...

This becomes very confusing with the release of WB 23: Xiticix Invasion! All of a sudden, mortal, non-augmented being are capable of inflicting MD with Xiticix weapons. These weapons are made from their MDC resin and are similar to MDC concrete. There is no mention of these weapons being magical nor of them having some kind of super sharp edge. KS just decided to up thee power of these weapons so that Psi-Stalkers and Dogboys could use them against the Xiticix bugs.

Thus, power creep has struck yet again.

As the other say... it only is an MDC weapon if wielded with soupie or sufficient robotic strength.

In the hands of a normal being, it's just a super solid club, but it won't do MDC

Right O mike ... Kisentite is not Just *any* MDC material, and is noted for it's special ability to cause MDC, even when wielded by normal humans (or other beings)

Yep !!! This is part of the beef I have with the X I book. I was used to those weapons being SDC (from RMB) ... and then I learn they are MD now... just weird

Okay I said yes and i'm hardly a noob... the question being can it. Well, if I have supernatural strength then certainly it can. Be more specific with your questions please. You should have asked, "Can a non-supernatural-strength being do MD to an opponent with an MDC object?".

They don't do that much damage; I'd hardly call it power creep.

That depends... are we doing MD to the dead horses, or SDC?

((I'll refrain from making some stupid cliched french surrendering joke.))

Perhaps with a spell of my own creation: Xombiefy. It creates MDC undead... low MDC, but still...
