The best thing to do is look at the root system of a tree and the imagine that the roots and nodules within it are hollow, allowing for human habitation.

I'm referring to an adult Seedling. I have no idea what an actual Seedling "seed" looks like or how big it would be. At the minimum, I would assume that it was at least the size of an 18-wheeler and that it would take many, many years of gestation before it would be viable.

it might be left up to the GM as to what the Actual Seedling *seeds* appear like.

possiblities i've seen on here so far include :

Mushroom-like-ness...
Just a Massive Rootsystem with a Massive underground core/stump-like center where most are...
Jellyfish/Barricles with a massive rootsystem....

heck they might be a non-magical cousin to the millium trees even, who knows..

... or use their "roots" to move along the ocean floor, albeit very slowly.

this is giving me some good ideas.

a mobile seedling kinda like a huge underwater sub...*seaquest*-like.
Most of the time it uses its proplusion tenticles to latch onto underwater cliffs/ect....but when it moves it moves slowly towards the surface to get its Splicers within range of the surface.

or like the SWep1-PhantomMenice Gungen City Just below the light areas of the ocean. With Bio-Force Fields to keep out the water, while providing light within at the same time.

Which idea sounds better ??

Oh. That would be bigger then, wouldn't it :-D

Kind of like the city in The Abyss, except organic tech instead of water tech.
