Hi all, been a few years since I've been here (and I've finally remembered what my password was), so it's nice to see that Nightbane is still active.

Been out of touch with what's happening. The last book I think I had was Shadows of Light.

That remains the most recent Nightbane book published, and it shall be so for the foreseeable future.

Just wondering if there is any news or rumours if there's going to be any more Nightbane books.

Nightbane is in limbo until Palladium finds a new author to tackle the series. It seems there were some differences of opinion regarding the direction the product line should take, and Jason Vey has since gone on to other things.

Also can anyone give me an update of what Nightbane source material has been published in the Rifter as I'm thinking of picking up a few of these again (think the last one I had was Rifter 12).

It wasn't the direction that was the issue. Kevin and I agreed on the vision for where the line should go just fine. The issue was that Kevin wasn't entirely happy with my writing once he finished his edit, and as many of you have seen me admit, Shadows was indeed not my best work at all. He did offer to allow me to continue to submit further manuscripts on spec, but incredibly short ones at a very low rate of pay.

I had better offers elsewhere, so we parted ways. Now I understand his rationale, even if I don't necessarily agree with it, and don't hold anything against him for it. In fact, I've spoken to him at conventions on several occasions since then and we get along just fine.

It does sadden me that Nightbane isn't seeing more regular support but to be honest, I've kind of fallen out of love with the Megaversal rules, so I don't really have the drive or desire to tackle anything more. Otherwise I'd have finished Nightbane: Eastern Europe (which was to be my next project) and posted it on my website.

I think we'd all like to see what you do have finished on Nightbane :eastern Europe if you'd like to post it on your web site.

Also I was unable to take the metalhead quiz, it said it wasn't open to the public.

I was setting up a Nightbane book the other day only to find that I do not have Shadows of Light anymore. I wonder where it is. Anywho... I would like to see historical Nightbane source books. Different time periods from Ancient Egypt to Revolutionary war. And, it's counterpart in the Night Lands.
