Absolutely brilliant!!! One of the best vehicles for advancing plots and giving players extra stuff I've seen.

The site is an excellent idea, especially as a potential scenario source, but the site should have a disclaimer. Just in case.

It does, when you sign up. There's a big disclaimer.

Hey folks,
Glad you're excited about the site. Me too.
As some have already found out, the lazlosociety.org site is an in-character forum. As such, those of you who would like to participate are encouraged to "play in character." Please don't sign up as yourself, or even as your regular message board persona. Make sure you sign up as a fictional character from the world of Beyond the Supernatural. Personally, I'd encourage folks to actually make a character, fully fleshed out, and post as that character would. Think of it as a big role-playing experiment.
It will be more fun for everyone that way.

signed up as "A. Pendragon", a Ghosthunter from Britain.
[edit]As "A. Pendragon", I definately envision the character/ persona using a big freaking sword![/edit]

I don't know why you weren't logged in, but you won't be able to post as a guest again (accidentally or on purpose). I had mistakenly left that group open to the public for posting. It's been fixed.

Yeah, there's only one style installed on the lazlosociety.com boards. To be honest, I'm not even sure why subSilver shows up as an option.
Thom and I felt that AdInfinitum was the best option we had for creating (and maintaining) the proper mood.

Just not a big fan of white text on black as it sometimes gives me headaches. If at all posible I would really apreciate you adding subSilver to the options.

I know do it when reading press releases on the main site just a pain in the neck to do it for a message board.

Try pressing the Control key and the "A" key at the same time. It will highlight everything. "CTRL + A"

Very nice.
I hope Palladium does this with more games.
Hunter: The Reckoning did the same thing with their game, they had an all 'in character' board.
Very good reads and lots of adventure hooks.

Who is Elvis Jones?
Their post about Howard Stern and there drink is stupid, really stupid, its not the kind of thing that I can see in the Lazlo Society.
EDIT: A question to whoever NicksMind is: Are you posting as a MiB type personality? A digital MiB that is attempting to devaluate the belief in the presence of MiBs?
If so,

Wow. That looks pretty cool.
Gonna kick around for a while though, get the feel for the place.
Then I'll make up / flesh out a character and sign up.
It's very cool of Palladium to set up and maintain that site.

I don't know where to post this suggestion, but the Lazlo site should have custom titles that allow us to post our PCC or OCC underneath our name. Has this been discussed before? I just found out about this today and am curious about it all.
