The Spell breather in Rifter 23 looks interesting, normally I don't use non-standard occs; but this one seems to fit so well into the theme of the game that I am considering it. Has anyone ever played one? Or had one in your group? Any comments about them?
I'm off to make some living spells (what shapes, skills, etc., they would have.)

Well to start off with to have all your spells as living spells you have to keep track of the spells' many different personalities and personal quests, wants, dislikes and hates. Which come to alot of text if you;'re writing them all down, and alot of info to forget if just using your brain to remem ber things.
Yes its a neat concept, and would make good NPCs But if the GM has you playing all your spells along with the char its can get to be Too Much.

I thought the Spell breather and Living Magics were a cool concept, but I wasn't sure they would work for my campaign. There did seem like a lot to have o keep track of, what with each spell having a persona.
