Lazlo Society and Nightbane
Hey, this is a shout out to all of us that post on Lazlo Society.
Nightbane is cool, it's one fo my favourite game settings ever . . . but Nightbane is not Beyond the Supernatural.
I think the Lazlo boards are much more effective if we keep things as close to pure Beyond the Supernatural as possible.
On a related note, I see stuff from a few other games getting in there too. My feelings on that are much the same as they are about Nightbane.
One other thing, some of us have links to RPG related sites in our signatures or profiles or posts . . . the Lazlo Society is supposed to be an In-Character board. So unless your character is also a role player, these links don't really help in the suspension of disbeleif.
I'm not telling you what you can and can't post (I'm a mod here, but a lowly peon there), I'm just suggesting we try and keep the board as close to its origional (and very cool) premise as possible.
Other than that, keep the posts flowing, I'm having a lot of fun

Not really, because it all incorperates well enough! Especally my Bloody Mary topic! The whole dark day hasn't happened yet and other type stuff. It does works out rather nicely!
Though the "genetic magic" in the "Dog?" post was not any thing from NB. That will be explaned in my Rifter submition. The GM controls it, completely NPC knowledge! When I get the time to write it up that is.

personally, i didn't think the nightbane referances were too bad, after all, PB works in a megaverse, and some of the NB universes could be connected to BTS as well.
what i didn't like was the whole announcement of the fact BTS2 was out. yeah, they roleplayed, but generally, in a game universe its assumed that the game in question does not exist.

I'm not saying no NB references, just can we try to keep them subtle. The two sysems do mesh very well, but there are also some differences.
Similarly, OOC comments should be made here rather than in the threads there.
I want my feelings known about this now before we end up with a Manhunter Cyborg and an Elven Diabolist debating ways that Alpha Prime could kill Moloch.
