So... where is the equipment listings or is there going to be a separate book for it?
Common equipment is pretty easy to some up with, but some paranormal investigation equipment is not common knowledge or what equipment is open to Lazlo Agents, I am sure they have probably designed more reliable equipment then anyone else.

My guess is that teh equipment won't change too much from the first book. So, I'm using 1st ed for equipment, HUGMG for modern weapons, and if I need something exotic, then I go to Aliens Unlimited or a Rifts book and look there.

Yea, but what about those that don't have the 1st ed.? (me)

Honestly, I just do what we've always done in our games: Bring it up, find it in a catalogue or a website or whatever and it's in there.
indeed...I also use that for added detail...
like, my character max uses a colt .45...but not just any old .45, no..he uses this
one model.
no real benefit to it...
just helps me picture the character more when I flesh him out and say he has a Colt SCG, wears a black turtleneck and jeans, drives a 2005 Mustang, and has a Vaio laptop at home

As far as equipment, if you'd want it anyways, you'd know what it does.
It's nice to have game terms though, should the GM wish to allow the item, but want a less subjective idea of what it can do. Game stats are a nice and arbitrary way of limiting the effectiveness of things that could otherwise become a pain in the game balance later.

Not to mention it would be nice to see what kind of specialized equipment Lazlo has for its agency or are these items that you pick from a 1st edition game printed in '88 or from a website?

If you can find a copy, checkout WotC's Arms & Equipment sourcebook for Alternity's Dark Matter campaign. Also, check out GURPS Black Ops.

I wish KS would publish more sourcebooks like this, instead of books that deal mostly with Meta-Plotting.
CCW is one of the best Palladium books (a bit behind the power-curve compared to more recent editions like HUII), more should be like this.
